Operational Analytics services typically take the form of an Opportunity Assessment Study at the hospital, in which performance in managing key bottleneck capacities is being analysed in combination with structured interviews with the relevant decision-makers, leading to an overall assessment of the potential benefits/improvements for the hospital on its path to operational excellence.

At Spaarne Hospital there was a strong focus on the potential to realise the highest possible bed-utilisation, while simultaneously optimising the deployment of nursing-staff across the clinical wards. Other formats of Opportunity Assessment studies combine other components from our 3-tier analysis framework, in many cases the OR, Outpatient Departments (OPD) and Radiology departments.
