In the second half of 2014, Care Dynamics will release a standalone version of its flagship Blueprint Optimiser – a state-of-the-art optimisation framework designed to generate OR Master Plans while guaranteeing optimal utilisation of both the OR and the various admission wards simultaneously.
The Blueprint Optimiser is currently integrated into DynamicPlanner’s suite of decision support modules, and is using DynamicPlanner’s modelling framework to create the underlying optimisation model. An extensive set of constraint-editors in DynamicPlanner further allows modelling nearly all the day-to-day business rules and constraints that may have impact on the OR master-plan.
The new standalone Optimiser will have its own modelling environment and constraint-editors, allowing hospital analysts to create, optimise and maintain their OR master-plans in a single decision support environment, whether or not they are using DynamicPlanner for their Tactical Planning process.
